| My first month in Malaysia was spent on the 25 day Standard Course (SC440) as a participant. Phil and I were in a group with about 8 others, mostly Malays. It was good fun, but hard work. The toughest part was learning to cope with a new language, new food and a lack of toilet paper. Above are some of the photos of my group during the 25 day course, and our instructors Azhar and Darma. |
| Some of my favourite memories from my year in Malaysia are from when I was working as an instructor. I mostly took childrens courses, lasting between 3 and 10 days long. I got to take them jungle trekking, sea kayaking, rock climbing, rappelling etc. The only down side was getting up at 6am every morning to go for a run! |
