At a place called Jigokudani (Hell Valley) Onsen, the local macaques spend the winter at hot springs in a wildlife park. Although wild, they have no fear of people as they are not hunted. Feeding or touching is strictly prohibited, so they haven't developed any bad habits and are commendably well behaved monkeys.
