What have we been up to?
News & photos about where we've been, what we've seen, and other stuff.
Then  on Monday we travelled to Looe, Cornwall by train with a small group of people we met at Church (on Sunday). The weather wasn't bright and sunny, as the above picture suggests (borrowed from another web site) but it didnt' rain! We wandered around the cobbled streets of the town centre, and had "fish and chips" for lunch (well, Kate had chicken and chips - what a surprise!). All in all, it was a nice day. Looe is a popular seaside town in Cornwall. Even in the cool weather today, there were a lot of people visiting. It gets very busy in Summer in Loe.
Hi all. Just short message about what we've been up to this long Easter weekend.

On Friday we went to
Crownhill Fort. Built in the 1860s, it was never actually used by the military in any war for defence. It was sold to a private business company, from the Army,  in the 1980s or 90s, and was repaired and made "tourist-friendly". It was really interesting - many tunnels to explore and lots of history.

Now that Easter has come and gone, things have started to open again. Things meaning tourist attractions.

On Saturday we had a quiet day and saw a movie in the afternoon. Kate saw "Bridget Jones' Diary" and Dave saw "Dungeons and Dragons". Both of us enjoyed our respective movies, in particular Kate can highly recommend her movie - Hugh Grant (yum!)
