Tomas Anderson a computer hacker under the alias of ''Neo'' is contacted by a person called Trinity who leads him to a man named Morpheous. Morpheous explains to Neo that the world that we know is an ''illision'' to blind us from the real truth. Neo is given the choice of staying as he is by taking a blue pill or taking the red pill that will show him the ''real'' world. He takes the red and is instantly shown a world he never knew about with Morpheous training him to survive in the matrix (the fake world). He is also told he is the ''one'' who can bring peace and free peoples minds from the matrix.
