Glen Murray scored his second goal of the game 2:03 into overtime and Byron Dafoe made 24 saves as the Bruins grabbed a share of top spot in the East with a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night.

Murray's second goal of the night ensured they would be there heading into the Olympic break. After opening the scoring early in the first period, Murray beat Peter Skudra cleanly in overtime with a slap shot from just inside the blue line.
``I just cut through the middle and tried to get everything on it and it just went through the five hole again so I was lucky,'' Murray said. ``We're in first place in the East and it's great to end on a note like that heading into a two-week layoff.''
Todd Bertuzzi scored and Skudra made 27 saves for the Canucks, who lost their second straight game after a nine-game unbeaten streak.
``Am I (mad) about overtime? Yeah I am, but that's the way it goes,'' Skudra said. ``It was a huge point, don't get me wrong. We battled all game and we came back against a really good Boston club.''
