Eyes Like Cindering Coals

by Dave Deal

Walked into a side street bar the other day
Me and my Mexican friend
Yeah, we heard everything they had to say
Just shook it off with a grin
Well, I guess we had our selves a drink or two
They stopped talking and gathered round
One man said, Look at me when Im talking to you
My friend just turned and stared him down

With eyes like cindering coals
Been pushed around one too many times
Seems like they reach in your soul
One step from losing control
Eyes like cindering coals

All men have a limit; that certain point
That you dont want to push them to
Most times theyre easy going; wouldnt hurt a fly
But you better watch out if they start looking at you

With eyes like cindering coals
Been pushed around one too many times
Seems like they reach in your soul
One step from losing control
Eyes like cindering coals
