Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and everyone else. I started recording concerts in August, 1997 on a Sony D8 DAT with Sonic Studios DSM-6 microphones. In November, 2000, after the D8 crapped out and before a few Dylan shows, I started using a Sony D100 DAT recorder. Listen to a few mp3s from the Nov. 12, 2000 concert in Kingston, RI:
I copy CDs or CDRs on computer using EAC for image extraction, then Nero for DAO burning. I am interested in high quality, complete recordings of concerts or copies of orignal CDs. Unless otherwise indicated, none of my recordings are sourced from mp3 and I don't trade for such recordings. I also avoid recordings with: - gaps, pops, skips or other defects. - tracks that are cut, omitted, rearranged, etc. - discs that are incompletely copied If you are interested in trading, please email me at levine_david(at)hotmail(dot)com Explanations of abbreviations for format and ratings CD = I own the original boot CD CDRM = I transferred my DAT master to cdr CDRD = I transferred a DAT clone to cdr cdr = copy of a CD, usually received in a trade DATM = my DAT master DAT = DAT clone mp3 = mp3's downloaded from the internet VCD = video CDs SVCD = super-video CDs note: dates are shown yy/mm/dd Ratings I have sometimes provided ratings. The most common rating is "A-" and is high quality. A few outstanding ones are rated "A" and a few with somewhat less than high quality are rated "B+". The ones rated "B" are for collectors only.
