| The Twin21 is my second major project after the scratch-built Proto1 speed car. After the ultimate speed car project was finished, it was time to go for the shear power and noise of nitro. Of course this had to be more insane and over the top than the Proto1. Time to beef up some drivetrains and pump the nitro! Twin21 preliminary SPEC Chassis base: Ofna/Ho Bao HYPER-7 1:8 buggy Engines: 2 Ofna Hyper-21 3.5cc nitro engines Assistance: Still air box, intercooler Braking: Rear: Twin transmission-mounted vented steel discs Front: Vented fibreglass discs, wheel mounted - one per wheel, cable actuated Other modifications: Custom machined centre spool, replaces diff T-Maxx wheels and Pro-Line Maxx Masher tyres Machined chassis braces to replace torque rods New design servo tray and fuel tank mounting to avoid engines/pipes Monster truck body shell Work started on the project on 17th DEC 2001, expect continual updates!
