When my friend, John Land (also an excellent Singer-songwriter) told me he was opening for Al Stewart here in the Tampa Bay area in October, 2003, I was very excited. An opportunity to see an international star -- who happens to be one of my favorites -- and also my great friend at the same time! The concert was EXCELLENT, with both John and Al turning in warm, intimate-feeling performances, great sound, and photo and chat opportunities with both performers afterwards. IT WAS A HIGHPOINT OF MY YEAR !! Below are photos taken after that concert.
