Gliding

My first true love is aviation.  When a aerial machine is heard overhead, I am one of those that seldom can resist straining the neck to see what it might be.

I have been a glider pilot longer than I have driven an automobile.  I have also had fewer aviation accidents than automobile accidents...lol.  Actually, my aviation career to date is unscathed by accident or incident.  I received the benefit of a glider pilot training scholarship in 1978 with the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program. In 1981 I continued on to obtain my glider instructor's rating.  2003 marked my 25th year of gliding with the Air Cadet Gliding Program. In 2004 I have now retired, taking with me many unimaginable memories.
