And I can remember back another generation.  The changes listed below were not BIG changes from my youth but now much larger changes take place in very short periods of time --  observe the pace of: TRAVEL, computers/internet changes and connections, degredation (IMO) of entertainment, frenetic activities, gambling (stock markets, lotteries, casinos ..), drugs, etc.  All of these have been around `forever' but not in such concentration.  What are we trying to escape from?
