· I realise that my "converting huge _force_ into electricity" can't work
as it stands: you can only convert energy into some other form of energy or
into work done.

· That _force_ would have to act through some _distance_, for the wind's
energy to be changed to _work_done_, and then into electrical energy. (And
I don't see how that could happen on a continuous basis.)

· That's why I've never mentioned the idea before - I just threw it in here
for interest.
