** I'm pleased to get this.

** However, in relaying it to a co-leader of The Greens here in NZ, I
wanted to give her the reference (URL) so she or her researcher could check
for themself.

** I usually do this, but this time I had a problem. Usually one can
search for the reporter's name in something variously called: Archive,
Library, Earlier Stories, etc. The Financial Times calls it: Search Site.

** This gave me 13 items, the third of which was the "Ford - green" one,
but the link was huge:

tion%3DColl8%26SortOrder%3DDesc%26ResultStart%3D1%26ResultCount%3D10&

** It turns out that only the first bit was of any real value; maybe the
rest is padding, I don't know. I also like to put in the original URL
because, while I am not willing to pay a newspaper company actual money for
their already-published articles, I accept that they have copyright, which
to me means they have a right to benefit in some reasonable way from
publishing their article. I choose to look at their webpage, with all the
headers and side-bars (images turned off in my case, though), as my
"payment" corresponding to their copyright.

** To get that Financial Times article, all you need is:
http://www.ft.com/search97cgi/vtopic?action=View&VdkVgwKey=%2Fapache%2Fdocs%
2Fhippocampus%2Fq3186c6%2Ehtm&DocOffset=3&DocsFound=13&QueryZip=%22Nancy+Dun
