· Maybe you _should_ ask Audrey Watson <awatson@yesmagazine.org> about this.

· She is the "list-owner", the person who manages the Pos Fut list, AFAIK.

· However, by Cc of my post to PF at 13:56 10/12/2001 +1300, I asked her
about how warning-of-scheduled-maintenance gets to list members.

  She hasn't responded yet.

· _My_ advice is based on my experience of the time we changed from APC IGC
to Topica; I would prefer to use my "general" address: d1v9d@bigfoot.com ,
because I'd like to have kept my ISP "local" address davd@ihug.co.nz with
little or no spam, by using it for small numbers of e-mails and not
recorded on webpages (as Positive Futures is: the CSF and Topica archives).

· However, bigfoot.com addresses are "black-listed" by Topica (or they were
when I was trying to use mine), but worst of all:
--==## Topica didn't send me _anything_ to tell me I couldn't sign-up! ##==--

· That may not still be true, but I lost a couple of weeks of PF
connection, while waiting for something (from Topica, or other).

· So my advice (and I'll probably do the same), is to get yourself a
Hotmail or Altavista or similar account to use for Pos Fut (& the like),
and have the mail forwarded from there to whichever account you check often.

· I can't see that your annika35@lycos.com address should be what's causing
the problem, but I just don't know.

David.
