(run on a New Zealand list-server), and the 3/4-hr earlier-posted one came
back within the same 1-2 minutes of the 2nd attempt that yours did. You'll
remember my second post of 06:43 19/7/2000 -0700; I had waited 40 minutes.
** I'm guessing it's nothing to do with posting to Jill, really.
** I'll be using a rule-of-thumb that I'll wait an hour, check mail, then
post it again with "2nd. try" at the beginning of the Subject line.
** Perhaps we shouldn't expect e-mail to be as reliable as it has been
before a few months ago.
