(right now) would be a much better reference. He was Editor of the Hamilton
Spectator for a long time, and would know the court system - I don't.

· However, I have a little comment, not very useful. The courts in Canada
are intentionally kept separate from anything even slightly political, and
I would guess it might even be illegal to try to apply influence by _any_
means except in public, within a courtroom. The Courts are totally
independent, in the Westminster system of government; they make their own
appointments of judges, etc. The Political system is quite separate.

· I'm having a look at the RAFI page, and a few others; if I find a
suitable place to send your opinions, I'll tell you.
