** Now, weeks later, the Antarctic ozone hole is most impressive, scary even.
** I've put 29 daily images (each 16 kB; total about half a MB - large) on:
http://davd.tripod.com/OzoneHole2000.html#top . Each is dated.
** They are produced by NOAA, and the (larger) originals are available
through:
ftp://jwocky.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/eptoms/images/spole/y2000/
** If you have an image-processing app like LViewPro which lets you see
them as a slide-show, you may wish to download them onto your own machine
then view them quickly in sequence. Below are the 29 separate URLs, for use
with Vampire or some other multiple file collecting application.

** If you have a slow or costly connection, only look at a selection, say
every 5th one.
** The white circle in the middle, diminishing with date, is the yet-unlit
part of Antarctica, near the Pole. Their cameras have no light to use, from
that area.
