Positive Futures VS:: Archive for Pos. Fut. list.

Archive for Pos. Fut. list.

David MacClement (davd@geocities.com)

Valerie, Sally, Catherine, Shea, Priscilla, Sallee,

** For those looking for some Positive Futures list postings to read (and
I'm sorry I didn't think of posting this earlier in the weekend), if you
have a web browser try:

http://csf.colorado.edu/mail/pfvs/

** which is the archive for this list; when things are quite might be a
good time to look through it for threads of interest, and see what's been
said earlier.

** That's actually the place where you choose your month. For example,
the November98 list classified by what's written in the Subject line is:

http://csf.colorado.edu/mail/pfvs/nov98/subject.html#start

** and a slightly different version is the same but with "subject"
replaced by "index".

** If you want to read what one person has written during the month, try:

http://csf.colorado.edu/mail/pfvs/nov98/author.html

** The archive starts in April '97.

** I'm willing, for people without Internet access (i.e. with e-mail only,
or using a shell account), to send them a text copy of the "subject" or the
"index" file. For example, the November subject listing of Positive Futures
postings (after each subject, the author and date/time only) is 17 kB. For
one subject it looks like:

** Then, if you tell me which subject(s) and which people you want to read,
I would create a text file of the body of those letters and send it to you
as an attachment. (Or in the body of the e-mail if you prefer.)

** I have all the time in the world, so this would likely be no problem.
In fact, I have spent many days recently playing a strategy game called
Caesar III, something like Civilization but with only one much more
detailed city.
