been told that our grass-fed ("range grazed") beef has flavours less
acceptable to American palates than the feeding-lot beef most seem to buy
these days.

· And further, that it is the rye-grass-and-clover pasture they use that
"gives it the unacceptable flavour". So there's talk about finding a
different grass than rye, to make NZ beef more saleable in the USA.

· /I/ find all this bizarre.
