River City is about to have trouble when Professor
Harold Hill steps off the train and uses his talents to sell  musical instruments and uniforms,  and then plans to skip out with the money without teaching the band how to play the instruments (and leave its citizens with a broken dream).  Meanwhile he tries to charm Lady Marian, the local librarian, to keep him company until his scam is complete, but he gets trapped by love instead.  You'll thoroughly enjoy the music and the catchy tunes, and you'll find out if the professor's "Think System" really works, even when you can't read a note of music..
MORE ABOUT MOVIES:  Over the years I have found that I want to watch some movies over and over again.    Many are musicals of the 50's and 60's that will never lose their entertainment value.  And most depict a way of life that was uncomplicated, yet full of fun and excitement.    While we all have different favorites, if you have never had the opportunity to view these, you should change that as quickly as possible, and if you have already viewed them, don't you agree it's time to enjoy the experience again.

Doris Day
Howard Keel

Is it an actress or an actor that we could watch over and over again?
