1)i need a short damn band history, and can you tell us how you put your self(the band) in the higher level in the underground? We started in early 1989,we made a couple of demos,a seven inch,and then got a record deal.Since then we have put out four albums. And four comps on Dwell Records.We have worked very hard over the last 13 years to get to this point in the Underground.We still want to get bigger and work just as hard everyday.

2)any news regarding your previous bandmates?any of them, im just curios with the old line-up...Well Jeff is in school,studying to be a plumber and Paul is a manager at a garage.Joe has been cleaning himself up and i guess is starting to play again.

3)can you show us the difference of your new material from the previous album particularly "into cold darkness" musically and lyrically? Wow you heard that album?hahaha...Well the new album is faster and more brutal.But it does have alot of dynamics.Lyrics are very much like Intocold,alot of Blasphamy,the way we like it!AAAAARRRR!!!

4)i just want to know what your comments about the riffs of TREy AZAGTHOTH. and are you amazed by his guitar malignancies?what can you say about his great band ever? I think Trey is a killer guitarist.I like alot of the older stuff, like Altars up to Domination.I like the new stuff but the older material was much more darker and Evil.We actually opened for them a few times in those first tours of Altars.So we got to see them with Trey cutting himself,and playing those great evil classics.

5)how do you find your self now with your almighty new bandmate "glen"..share something interesting and also those non-kick-ass aspects.I have known Glen also for along time,like 11 or 12 years.We have always had mutual respect and in many ways we are alike.So when i asked him to help us out and do the vocals he did. And for that.... i eternally thank him!

6)about your current label,how does the band feel about this?is it damn agonizing or a little bit mixed with lots of challenges? Well we hope it's better for everyone,for the fans and for us to get our music everywhere.This is always been our problem with the record companies we been with in the past.They never had good distro,so we always paid for that.Now with Century Media,it should make things alot better.

7)any influences?among them what bands made you who you are now? Wow,there are alot! First it would have to be Venom.When i first heard Venom i was in 7th grade study hall class,like 1981- 82.A friend of mine and Jeff's let us hear Black Metal.And we were just blown away i think i got thrown out of class for singng out loud the chorus.....LAY DOWN YOUR SOULS TO THE GOD"S ROCK AND ROLL!!!!HAHAHAHA.I also liked Mercyful fate,i saw them in 84 it was the best show ever!I also like early Morbid Angel as i said before and Deicide,Marduk,Immortal,Shit there are so many... Emperor,Destruction,Possessed,Sodom,Vader,Krisiun and many more...

8)what can you say about the current line up, how do you see the band with no constant line-up? Well it's me and Dave.I have written all the music for the band since the begining,so you can say i'm the creating force behind VR.So no matter who else is with me i will continue to give 100% to the fans and to the true Underground!Dave also brings so much into the band.He's an amazing musician.So the way i look at it is, who ever is with us for touring will have to pay there dues on the road.If they can do that,only then will we consider them for a permanent member.Its hard to find real true people,that are not already in bands.

9)aside from your almighty glen,does anybody from the band involved in some death/black metal bands?or even organizations?what particularly? No!.... no other bands.But i was invovled in a coven of Satanist a few years ago.Since then i have realized that i am much more powerful alone.Like a wolf on the hunt,he knows when to go in for the kill.I know what i have to do in this life and that's spread my Chaos.My music is my ritual and i am content with that!Hail Satan!

10)can you compare the music of new vital remains from the stuffs of deicide?is there a great difference or a little similarities?I think the music is very different and Glen had to sing different vocal patterns on this album.I think he did a killer job and worked very hard.It sounds like his first to albums,very Evil and sick but with alot more singing because there are alot more lyrics.

11)any thoughts about religion,share something wicked and brutal about it? I think Christianity has destroyed many lives and culture's.The church has committed many Atrosities thru out the world.And they have killed in the name of there God!They have stripped away the very natural instincts of man.And so i give them "Dechristianize"..... Also look at the world around us, can you see they are loosing. People are getting smarter and so they are realizing they can think for themselves!!!There veil of self-righteousness is being seen for what it really is....BULLSHIT!!!

12)pls tell us about your self outside from the band,whats your favorites,hobbies,and your dreams in life..I like to play my guitar,go to Metal shows.Watch movies,read books on the occult and of darker themes.My dreams are to one day get to tour the world and play our music to the Underground Worldwide.

13)are you planning to tour here in PHILIPPINES?do you think is it worth for the band? I would like to tour the Philippines,we have some fans there...but thats up to the promoters?Do you know any?hahaha...give them my email.lol....I think it would be worth it to play anywhere there are Death Metal fans!

14)is it plainly death metal for you of what you are releasing/creating your music?any style you want to tell us about your musicianship towards your skills for the band? My style was developed from listening to old school metal and then growing with the times and listening to newer bands as they came up thru the underground.

15)who usually writes the lyrics? Dave

16)may i know whats the reason why lewis is away from the band?i do like his style in playing. Since before i really like Vital Remains more than youll ever know! What Style is that?HAHAHA.He never played on the last two records!Because he could not play the music.I fired Joe after we did the European tour 2000.Joe was all fucked up on drugs.And i could not work with him anymore.So we i kicked him out of the band.He is now clean from he told some of my friends.

17)what can you say about the metal scene now adays? I think it's getting Bigger,and people are wanting heavier music.Death Metal and Black Metal together are unstopable and there is no music on the planet that can match the two!!!
