Sacrament has been around for quite a long time now.  Started way back in 1993 as Agnos Deis, with Bier as Vocalist. Started to tread the thrash metal trend in 1994 till the early part of 1995 playing cover songs of Sepultura, Pantera, Metallica, and Megadeth. The band used to be a mainstay at Etnikos which was situated at Bonifacio Street, Davao City.

By the late part of April 1995, the band changed direction from thrash to death metal. Former band members include:

Lem0 Gutierrez - Vocalist

'Simon' Montilla - Bass

Jeoffy Hipolito - Drums

Alan Solanor - Guitars

Ustad Alonto Hadad - Guitars

By the end of June on that same year, the band split. Joeffy and Lem0 with Voltaire 'Abhor' formed "Agnas"; while Boyet and Simon joined Joe Perez, but failed to perform and produce original material in the same year. The latter two succomed to Oblivion later that year, and were never heard from ever.

This year (August of 2001),  after Boyet left Undergoth,  Sacrament is back with members intact save for Joeffy. Lem0 now serves both as vocalist and drummer. The idea of the band is to relivethe lost Old School Death Metal, with a little more edge.

The band recently played along with well known underground metal bands just this 15th of September, 2001.
