I would list well remembered bands during that time, i know i'll
be missing some
of them, but i'll update this site once i get the full info. The
hottest bands back then
were: Blitzkrieg, Sisterheads, and Vox Humana. They were not into
Death Metal
music though, but they paved the way for upstart local bands.
The first ever band to open Death Metal in the City was a certain
'Citizen Pigs'.
Their materials were rather coarse, as they were mostly instant
death tunes. They
covered songs by Dismember. Band Members i remember who made up
the band
were: Virgil, Joe Perez whose currently with Undergoth,
Charles, Jongjong, and etc...
Currently this band is no more.
With them as the inceptors of Death Metal in the City, the follow
up band to have
also played the same music was a certain "Cremation". This same band didn't last.
A band by the name 'Sacrament' - Thrash Metal band; made
a crossover to
Death Metal in early part of 1995, things went bad for the members
and they split.
Former band members namely: Lemo Gutierrez, Jongi Montilla, Joeffy,
and
Boyet are presently members of different bands. Volter, a well known
Guitarist who's now
into Black Metal, also formed Sacrament briefly. From there, there
were bands known
as: Carnivores, Agnas, which i think were simultaneously in existence
with Infanticide.
And the rest is what we call - History.
