Goateye was form in August 2002 from the ashes of Beelzebub and Necrotanus who shares a passion for extreme and a desire to create such music. Originally based in Basak Cebu City, Phil. Goateye is composed of TERRENCE (guitar), JONATHAN (drums) are both from (Beelzebub), LD (guitar) former (Necrotanus), IAN (vocals) and GIORGIO (bass).

The band is fun of playing cover song such as, MASSACRE’S (From beyond, Cryptic realm), HYPOCRISY’S (Take the throne, Osculum Obscenum, Impotent god), SEPULTURA’S (troops of doom), KREATOR’S (People of the lie, Terror zone) and etc… Goateye did also some compositions but due to financial problems we didn’t able to go to the studio and record our songs. Namely; Black Mass Attack, Sicking Ways, Bestial Prophecies, Nightmare, and Visions of Insanity.

In a few short months, the first gig was set on October 2002 at Sky Scraper Bar entitled MUTILITATED. And then the following month we play at the Ronnie’s Tattoo Bar. This time the band got disappointed coz while we’re still playing the owner told us to stop because they say it’s very noisy and the next day we heard that we were banned from that bar. Last February we go back to Sky Scraper Bar to play at MUTILATED II, this time critics offered the highest of praise, while others didn’t understand or know what to say about death metal.
