Armed with a deep infernal knowledge in metal since intiated in 1986. Influenced by bands namely death, Kreator, Possessed, Sodom, Slayer, Dio, Rigor Mortis, and Destruction. The one baptized as CARCASS, a member of NATAS cult founded in 1987 in Cebu City formed CREMATION. Decomposed of a friend in Jay on bass and RELLZ Blasphemy on Drums. Blasphemy is the younger brother of Carcass. Cremation introduced Death/Black trhash to an alternative congested scene. Aghast, despised by many worshipped by few. The first gig CREMATION played was in 1995 in Matina Pangi as two piece. Then moved on to play at Etnicus bar in 1996 to 1997 as a regular act. The last gig Gremation played prior to its haiuts was on 1998 Addidas Street Ball Challenge at Victoria Parking lot. Alongside with bands Infanticide, Dysentery etc... Unfortunately, ‘internal problems’ arouse due to musical differences with the bassist who got mauled and fired, likewise the drummer got married ang fuck! Lem of Carnivores/Al Iblis was Jake Carcass right hand. Played with the band awhile and smoked weed. But the leader, Carcass was so fucking disapoointed compelled to impose the bands’ demise due to lack of dedicated and skillem members and dut also to financial constraints. The eventual birth of bands like Sacrament, Decapitated, Korihor, and Carnivores etc... unleashed its evil chants with Cremation nowhere to be found in hell. But as a huge influence on these underground acts. Now, a demonic call. A strong force of evil so mighty is the force that Jake Carcass was compelled to reform CREMATION with an old friend Manthajes on bass and Dirkumnas of Funebral on drums. A satanic, unrelenting black/thrash Cremation rears its uglier, cunt masticating, crist fucking head with the addition of true metal devotees. CREMATION now is building back its ruins in the fire eternal! Always blasphemous, always dark, always spilling holy blood in the underground. The band is no doubt the Father of Davao Death Metal.
