Originally Scutum Sobieskii or Clypeus Sobieskii  (Sobieski’s  Shield).  It has only one star brighter then the fourth magnitude (a 3.58), but it is rich area bordering Aquila, and contains the glorious ‘WILD DUCK’ cluster M.11.
