Entry for November 25, 2006
Thnaksgiving is always like that. Turkey, gravy, ham, pie, the usual, except there was no mashed potatoes. The sun did come up, I was lazy all day and it took me two days to get enough energy to write about it. Not too exciting, not too anything except it was the usual Thanksgiving. Too much turkey, gravy, and stuffed.
I've been thinking a lot. About a new story. But like always, I think a lot and write a little. So here's the attempt to at least get some of my thoughts down on paper, except I don't use paper any more. But if you think this is going to be enlightening, it is not. It is going to be mostly practicing. To see if I can keep the stream of thought going and perhaps end up with somethng, interesting. Everybody seems to be writing blogs. Doing blogs? Spreading rumors more likely. At least massaging one's ego so that you can boast about all the neat things you know. More likely egg on the face secrets that you know. Or gossip that is juicy but you can't say who, what, when or where but maybe just hint.
So here is my start. Here is my blog. Here is my attempt to create ideas that will start as fiction, become alive, and then become history. Here is my creative writing 101 attempt to write without cliches. Guess I blew that. No cliches. Try again.
Here is my attempt to write with color and life and ...
I'm out of time and out of ideas. I guess I'll go take a bath. That's about as sexy an idea as I am capable of. But I need a sign off line, just like the people on TV.
Till the next sunrise, or (whatever it is at the top there), Whatever!
