What is Magick?
About Magick:

Magick is the power to create and influence reality (both internal and external) through the use of will.
It involves sensing the web of energy that connects and underlies all of reality.
We believe it runs in our blood, flesh and bones as human beings.
We weave it with our words, our choices, our actions, our dreams, our songs and our chants.
We may choose to spell it as magic or as "magick" with a "k" to differentiate it from stage magic and sleight of hand.
Magick should never be used to try to influence another person without her or his informed consent or prior request.
Anyone, of any religious faith, can practice magick and many people and religions do, though they may not call it by that term.
  About Spells:

A spell is a ritual for raising psychic power and then directing it to a specific and practical purpose.
It is fueled by the imagination and concentrated willpower. Other trappings may also be added (such as incense, candles, oils, objects, special clothing) to aid the subconscious mind in directing the necessary energy, but those things are not really necessary.
There are various laws of magic and spellwork, probably the most important of which is The Rule of Three or Threefold Law: that which is sent out returns to the sender threefold.
Thus many Wiccans will only work spells and magick to try to achieve positive effects, or for protection, and will never seek to control the will of another.
Since magic is a tool it is morally neutral - like all tools. It is the user who determines the ultimate effect (for good or ill) to which the tool is put.
