To the South and to Sea, dark days a coming...     With the aid of Marylaxes magic she teleported Gecko and his new companions where he bidded on the streets of Calimport on the dockward of the Calishite city. At a tavern, while awaiting the vessel of the Sea's to be ready, the adventurers meet a dark woman that could have been a dead ringer for Lady Karranna had she not been dressed in black leathers and had a personality that would have made well traveled pirates shy away from her. The woman , after some uncomfotable conversation with Valaria, told the Heroes her name was Stilleto. Strangely Valaria (through the enchanted circlet she wears) she saw an "invisible" being attached to the back of her neck, some kind of parasite! Upon mentioning it to her, she had a comvulsion of some sort and suddenly before out eyes was sucked through an enchanted vortex of energy of light in the middle of the tavern! Valaria and the others could vaguely make out the shadowy form of what they believed to have been Imoteph!
    Nevertheless, that was the last they saw of the woman who looked so much like Karranna for the Heroes boarded the water vessel and quickly took off from the Docks! Watching from the deck of the ship the Heroes quickly picked up the knowledge that they were onboard a stolen ship! As quickly, another ship was attempting to catch up to them and most likely police them! Although a quick Ice Storm spell cast upon their helm and sails slowed they chase!
    The Sea voyage to our destination (which the Heroes find out is to another realm where a vampire infestation threatens that realm and also the Realms as well), this voyage was an interesting one, with attacks by the Sahaugin, worse still some awful weather given to up by Umberlee's pissy mood! Also Captain Han, becomes quite "friendly" towards Valaria (to her irritation at first, but she warms up to the idea...). On the 8th out to see the Heroes ship was attacked by another pirate ship, but the Heroes vessel was much more powerful then the pirates on the offending ship and the pirates were quickly slain and their goods were taken! This included a sarcophogus (that the Heroes opened to find a mummified being and a hoard of rubies! They closed the coffin and kept their mouths shut about the wealth within!) Though on the   10th night the mummy awakens breaks out of his coffin and kills several onboard the ship, though a hit from Throgs enchanted mace destroys the mummy in a single hit! on the 11th morning at sea Sauhagin attack again, this time a fatal accident occurred when Lorthois was impaled by a Sauhaugin spear and he used a lightning bolt from his enchanted cloak to blast his foes away! The lightning bolt also hit Figmundt as well and sent Figmundt to the Fugee Plane!
And without the healer on board the vessel anymore (he was slain during mummy incident) the vessel had to change course to the small pirate cove "city" where they found a cleric to raise figmundt back to life for a mere 11,000 gp!!!! This "small" amont of wealth basically emptied the partys magical treasure storage down to almost nothing! Though the Captain of the ship decided so that Figmundt and everyone can rest, they would dock at the Cove for the day and continue onward in the morning! Well to make a long day and night a short tale, much trouble happened in this city...half of the city being burnt down due to a wayward bonfire set up by Han's druken crew whom purchased one of the cities main taverns by way of the rubies stolen from the mummies coffin!! Also unknown to Valaria and Han this night, upon the first time of their fiery lovemaking, Valaria is with child (Uktar 19th)!!!
    7 days at sea later Captain Han informs Gecko that the whirlpool was straight ahead and then went to inform Valaria that this was where they separated! However Valaria didnt take this very well, as she flew into a rage and threatened to blast Captain Han with every single destructive spell she could muster for using her as an easy screw! Captain Han was seriously taken back by this explosion of anger and shocked his crew by telling them he was leaving the ship and the crew to travel with Valaria and Gecko. At hearing this Valaria felt very embarrassed for saying the terrible things she did to Captain Han (whom obviously wasnt using her and did care for her!).     So a small side boat was lowered into the water with the heroes and Gecko within it, however just as the boat was being lowered a mummified hand burst threw the main boats wall and grabbed Captain han by the arm and lifted him upwards. We watched horrified as the side boat was still being lowered and as an ancient very evil looking mummy broke a fair size portion of the main boats side open. The mummy had clearly broken the Captain Arm, as a bone could be seen prrotruding from the wounds! And still the Mummy was holding onto the the Captains arm and looking at him as if he were a cat and the Captain was the trapped mouse! Valaria let loose a magic missile spell into the mummy and it dropped the captain down into the raging waters near the whirlpool. Without thinking of her own safety Valaria leaped into the water to help her lover! And the Heroes listened from below the ship on the waters to the agonizd screams of the crew on board the ship as several mummies brutally slay everyone on board the ship! Valaria manages to get to her lover and Gecko pulls the two on board the boat just before they are caaaught up in the tides of the whirlpool and are pulled into it! The last thing of the realms they see is the ancient mummy leaping into the waters in chase of them! The heroes are pulled from their boat and tumble helplessly down the magical whirlpool to whatever destination that Gecko was leading them to! Although above them they can see the ancient mummy levitating down the whirlpool, his undead eye sockets solely on them!

    The heroes exit the whilrpool gatee and find themselves under water and each struggle to swim upwards toward the light of the day! Each break the surface of the lakes water they were gated into and swim for the land that isnt too far away. Although Throg had to sacrifice his field plate in order to swim to the surface and now was without armor!
    They reach land and tend to the Captains wounds (after finding out that magic doesnt work so well in this world!), they amputate the Captain arm. And after speaking with a phantom on a horse, they head towards the town of Westmoore, with the Captain unconcious on a floating disc spell. On the way to Westmoore they fell across an encampment, and were taken to a feast by the guards, it was quite apparent that elves did not live upon this land as they had never seen anyone such as Valaria, Daeliynn, or Lorthois before! They thought us to be from the Underworld, but we were treated as divvine beings at the same time. They met a man named Dolemite that was quite interesting....
The next day the made it to Westmoore and after be given the advice, take Captain Han to a retired warriors inn, which was free of charge and they gave medical attention to the wounded of war. The heroes discovered that there money had no real meaning in this world. So with Captain Han safe and being cared for they turned their attention to their reason for coming to this world.
    After using some sort of "dove magic" they were taken into a land that was perpetually dark ontop of an ancient castle tower. Being very rash and bold the heroes lit fire to the ancient temple and blacksmith shop of this keep. The fire drew attention to the heroes as vampires surfaced from their hiding spots! With a quick spectral force spell Valaria conjured an illusion of a tremendous red dragon with breathed illusionary flaming death to all vampires and bats that came near to the heroes!
    The heroes scale the walls of the fortress of the castle to the top of the fortress, then upon knowing that the Orb of light is within the 7th floor of the keep, they burst through the window and find themselves near a ancient "neutral" acting vampire and a diamond like artifact of sorts. We were bid by the vampire who had spent centuries studying it to touch it.Each in turn touched it, Valaria touched it with cloaked hands, figmundt touched it, as did Daeliynn and Lorthois to no harm. But when Throg touched it bare handed a blast of light tore through the chambers disintegrating the vampire and overwhelming everyone!
Both Throg and Valaria were taken to a special place and underwent something sacred and that they cannot speak of. Though Valaria freely admits that she knows now that she is with child!
Upon returning from the overwhelming light of the artifacts charm, the heroes find themselves back outside the castle on the ground below without Gecko (he is gone, though Valria informs them that Gecko is fine and not to worry) and find that a great crack in the earth rendered itself open and a great orb of light such as the sun blasted forth, slaying vampires and the like everyone! Though slowly the light dwindled away.
    The heroes then as the light dwindles discover that not all the vampires were slain and that perhaps the lord of the undead is still alive and he comes out of the earth itself form its restin spot and promised the heroes great wealth. However Valaria dropped a wall of ice upon them! Destroying both the chest of wealth that the servant vampires brought forth and hopfully the lead vampire, however they find that to be false as the vampire lord attacks Valaria from behind knocking her unconscious! Though being in some sort of gaseous/unseen state he was not able to feast upon her body!
    The heroes valiantly fought him off and once Valria came to she let loose the last bit of "dove magic" and they were swiftly taken back to the city of Westmoore! However upon reaching the Warriors guild where they put Han up at, they are overwhelemed with horror as they enter it, as blood is splattered everywhere! As everyone within it has been brutally torn limb from limb. Then Valaria (whom is freaking out that Han is dead) sees Han stumble from a doorway joyous to see his friend, but then Valaria screams out as a fist bursts through Hans chest spalttering Valaria with blood and gore! Then the ancient mummy rips Han in two and tosses his broken body aside! Valaria is grief stricken!
    A tremendous battle breaks loose, one whihc Dolemite appears out of no where blasting powerful magic from his rings! All together they do slay the ancient mummy, but not before he was able to kill Han and all of the other inhabitants of this inn! Dolemite urges them that they must hurry and follow him, so following Valarias urgings they quickly lift Hans remains   onto a floating disc and follow Dolemite to a hidden "gate" within the city. Upon opening the gate we were all sucked into a large tavern of some sort full of vampires, Dolemite is wounded gravely as he empowers the gate to activate again and we find ourselves back in a cavern underneath the Calimshan desert. However, the gate seemed to start a quake of some sort and the cavern overhead began to fall away revealing the afternoon sky overhead and a way out of the slowly caving in cavern. However, Dolemite was gravely wounded and told us to leave him before he died. He just wished that his treasure, his gauntlet was protected! So despite her power hungry allies wanting it for themselves, Valaria quickly grabbed the gauntlet from his wrist in order to later give it to the temple of mystra in shadowdale for safe keeping, though the gauntlet somehow clasped around her wrist and all the rings attached to its slim chains slipped on her fingers utterly to her shock! Though the cavern was collapsing around them so they couldnt think of such matters, and one by one they enacted powers necessary to leave the cavern and up to the desert above!
    Upon being under the Realms sky again, they teleported themselves back to Shadowdale to think over the matters that they just endured and for Valaria to mourn the loss of her lover and the father of her child! Also to Valarias shock she realized ((maternally of course) that she was mysteriously 2 months pregnant rather then the couple days she should have been. Though she understood why she was this way, but she didnt know how she felt about it though....
