Mao is a cat demon and temple guardian who left the temple to find a place where he belong he watched juri and some how follwed her to her current place.
Secretly Mao is in love with Juri just how much he is still remains unknown to most people. But he wants what is best for her regardless if he can be near her. He chooses to love her with his heart even though she is in her own pain and must find her own way he wishes he could be by her side.
On a stranger note Mao is chased down everyday by Kichii ""Chii"" his childhood friend who he grew up with. Kichii pesters Mao and is very very childlike Mao tries not to hurt her but Kichii love is a one sided ordeal meaning she loves him but he only sees her as a child.
Mao enjoys writing and drawing when no one is looking and the occasional cat toy.
He has fuzzt cat ears on his head which he hears everything from so he hates when kichii yells at him in them. His childhood nickname is Kitty. How the hect that came about was due to him looking like a little kitty.
Mao is trained in magics and small weaponary. He used his magic to help Juri even though in the process he could of hurt himself more than anything.
