=============================================================================== | How To Fix That One Annoying Error That Starts Everytime You Start TetriNET | =============================================================================== By Mike Rotch http://zap.to/MikeRotch Last Updated: 05-21-01 I recommend printing this out for more convienence. Every now and then, when you start the TetriNET program, you receive something called a General Protection Error. This is nothing serious, and can be fixed in several ways. **FIX STARTUP ERROR** Here are your options: -Close any programs that are not in use. -Restart your computer. -Delete and re-download TetriNET. -Follow this step-by-step procedure: [1]: Open TetriNET and click on the error button that shows up. [2]: Goto Server Settings and start a server. [3]: Goto Misc. Settings and set up your theme and midi file. [4]: Goto Server Settings and Reset the winlist and close the server. [5]: Close and reopen Tetrinet. There should no longer be that error. [6]: Check if your theme and midi file are still there. [7]: You is done. You should no longer have this error once you have completed any one or more of these options. Woo-hoo! To prevent this error, just make sure you have closed your server or exited a server before closing the program. This file was download from: http://zap.to/MikeRotch email = zaptomikerotch@yahoo.com
