*~*Me From The Beginning*~*

Here I am, at approximately three to four months old.  As you can see, even at this ripe young age, my mouth was already going a mile a minute; this was a foretelling of what was to come in the future!!

In this picture I was about 19 months old, it looks to be around Christmas time, considering the half-opened gift on the table.  It looks like I was probably eating something, the one way they could get me to stop talking!

Here's the earliest portrait studio picture I could find.  I was apporximately five years old in this picture.  The one thing I remember about the trip to the studio that day was how much I begged my mom to let me use this background, cuz I thought the river in it looked pretty behind the autumn leaves. I still love this picture, and the background; I guess it's probably a inner love of nature.

I took gymnastics classes for three years when I was younger.  This picture was taken the second year of classes.  I was six years old, nearing my seventh birthday.  I loved taking gymnastics very much, and wish that I had been able to keep up with it.  My favorite thing to do in class was use the uneven bars.  At our age and height, our class was only using the low bar, but it was fun anyway.  I also loved using the balance beam.  For years after ending classes, I was still able to show off by doing handsprings and roundoffs off of the end of the balance beam they had at a nearby playground.  Needless to say, I can't do them anymore... but the memories are still there.

This picture was my school portrait from third grade.  That was my last full year at Ledge Street School, before my family moved across town.  Out of all of my elementary school pictures, this was one of the best, that being the reason it is on this page.  I have a few more pictures from elementary, but they came out blurry after being scanned, so this is the only one until I find more.  Third grade was my favorite year in elementary school.  My teacher was Mrs. Latham, and she was my favorite teacher for those six years.  I loved the haircut/style I had my hair in for that portrait, the style and length my hair presently is pretty close to what it was then.

This picture is from my first year playing Junior Biddy basketball for Nashua Parks & Rec.  I was #19, next to the girl holding the ball, I believe she was Amy Donahue, but I am not sure, so if you know, please inform me.  The only other player in the picture that I can name for sure is #1, Micheala Leary, one of the star players for the NHS varsity basketball team.  If anyone can pick out who any of the other girls are, I would be glad to update the page as soon as the information becomes available to me; so feel free to e-mail me by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.

Here's a picture of me from Eighth grade.  I absolutely hate this picture (I think more because I don't really like the way I had my hair than anything else probably), but it was the only picture I could find from jr. high other than my ninth grade picture, which was worse... and I had to include at least one picture from jr high, so I wouldn't be skipping from third to twelfth grade  Eighth grade was the last year I spent at Fairgrounds Jr. High.  I moved at the end of the year, and for ninth grade, I attended Elm Street Jr. High, which I liked much better.

Our team started out our three years as an expansion team, and didn't win a single game that first year.  We progressed quite a bit in our three years together though, our last year together, we made it undefeated to the City Championship game, and in a very close game, lost to the Blazers.
Panthers; from top left to bottom right. Top: Coach Rick Bailey, Michelle Dunetz, Jessica Vissa, Lauren Viveros, Bonnie Campbell, ?, Middle: Diana Lamontagne, ?, Micheala Leary, Erin Bailey, Melissa Ansara, Assistant Coach Dave Lamontagne, Bottom: Sarah (I think her last name was Beecy), Ashley Clark, Erin Hendrickson, Amy Donahue, Me, Leslie Valenta

Here I am... as the world sees me!... or as it is more commonly known... my senior portrait (taken July/1999). I would have to say that my senior pictures were the best that I have ever had done at a portrait studio. Senior year in High School was one of the best years of my life. I made a bunch of friends, was involved in a bunch of different extra-curriculars, had a decent job, and even managed to make NHS upper quarter. Upper quarter however, I just barely accomplished. In order to make upper quarter, you had to be ranked 191 or lower out of 764 students... I just barely made the cut-off, finalizing my rank at #186, with a GPA of 3.21. I can only hope that my years at UMF will be as good as that last year at NHS.

This portrait was taken in May of 2000, at our Senior Prom. From left to right are: Me, Toni, Krista, and Frances. I don't know about the other 3, but I had a great time at the prom, it was much better than the Jr. Prom. I got to dance quite a few dances with my date, as well as one each with Matty (Hey Sexy!!!) and Mark (hi "Mark in Maine" :-P ). Afterwards, we all went to Shorty's (except Krista for reasons that I won't mention). That was fun too... even though Matty would not stop trying to through tortilla chips down my dress!!! LOL (Ahh... the memories)

This portrait was taken in December of 2000, at my Winter Wind Ensemble concert. The girls in this picture used to be close friends of mine, but we had something of a falling out in September of 2002. I thought about removing the picture, but then I decided against it, because while we are no longer friends, they are still a small piece of my history and who I have come to be today. My other reason for keeping the pic here is that it's one of the few pictures I have that has me with my trumpet... LOL. Missing from the picture is Melody (who is still a good friend to me), she took the picture.

This picture was taken in September of 2001 at my family reunion. The little boy is my cousin Michael. He's the most adorable little kid, and very well behaved. Michael and his sister (Jacqueline) are the sweetest little kids to babysit. I love going home to visit them.

This picture was taken at a friends party a little before I left for school. The guy with the long hair on the left is my friend Drew. The girl in the foreground with the bandana is my friend Melanie, and the one in the background is her little sister. The girl in the blue top is my best friend Toni. The dark-skinned guy on the right side is my ex-boyfriend Anuj. My friends are awesome... and Drew is one of the funniest guys I know. Anuj (who likes to be called AJ) is the sweetest guys I have ever met. I have never met a guy that has treated me better than him, and I am glad him and I remained friends, but I'm now kinda sad cuz I'm not sure what happened to him... I haven't seen him online forever (hoping he's okay).  Anyway, I love hanging out with my friends... they help me forget about my troubles for a while and just let loose and have fun.

Well, here I am in the one time anyone will ever see me even looking remotely like a ho. Yeah, it's not much, but heck... it's the one and only time I could get away with wearing fishnets... LOL. This pic was taken on February 14, 2002 before the infamous "Pimp 'n' Ho" Dance at UMF, which is the annual Valentine's Day dance. It's lots of fun, cuz a whole group of girls get to go with one pimp. :) This particular year, my friend Gene got to be the lucky pimp. :-P

This picture was taken in April of 2002 at Mt. Blue High School at a combined concert that UMF did with 3 area high schools. It's another of the favorite pictures I have of myself... and it has me with my trumpet!! :) This was one great concert. We all played well (go trumpets!) I think I only screwed up once or twice... LOL. I also got to see some very talented high school musicians, one who had to take over for our tympani player (who for some reason didn't show up). He ended up being better than our regular tympanist, so we kept him for our spring ensemble... LOL. Anyhow, to my left (my left, not to the left of the picture) are Nate and April, who would go back and forth sharing the role of lead trumpet/section leader. To my right are Cindi and Dawn, who are Second Trumpets, I don't think there was another person sharing third chair with me that semester... so I got to shine (whoopie!). :)

Well, that's it for now... more pictures and information to come as soon as I get more pictures or as soon as my favorites change again... LOL.
