296. Benjamin Windham
Benjamin Windham (son of Eustace and Martha) died in 1782 while serving
in the state legion under Col. Dabney. Mary was pensioned as a soldier's
widow in 1789 until 1816. The children except for two small females were
bound out.In 1782 Beverly Booth and Benjamin Deloach are named in the
administration of Benjamin Windham's estate. His widow and children are
turned out of the house by his father.In 1784 Eustace, Benjamin's father, deeds the land to Willis where
Benjamin lived the same being given to him by his father.
