Emma Watson was born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. She didn't have any movie experience before 'Harry Potter', but during school, she did take part in many plays. Some plays were "Author: The Young Years", and "The Happy Prince." The above plays were pretty much the only experience in acting that Emma Watson had when casting directors hired her to play Hermione Granger in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Immediately when "Sorcerer's Stone" was released in the US and UK, Watson was launched into super-stardom, with her on the cover of many magazines and getting interviews all the time. She has played Hermione Granger in four out of the seven Harry Potter films and has confirmed to do "Order of the Phoenix." There were rumors that she would be in "Airborne," a small film, but we have never heard any more information of that movie's casting. |
