Since my site is about how we can help animals by not eating them wich leads to helping our environment and other stuff Il have some info on backgrounds of not eating animals. So, Vegetarians were called Pythagoreans up utnil the 1800s. The modern vegetarian movement in the mid-ninetenth century. Vegetarianism is a theory, belief, and practice of living by consuming mainly vegetables, fruits, grains and nuts. Some vegetrians include fish and animal by- products. Vegetarianism is an ancient custom. It has long existed among certain Hindu and Buddhist that consider all life sacred and it was advocated by numerous philosophers and writters of ancient Greece and Rome.

The strictness of the way of eating varies among vegetarians. There are three main types of vegetarians:

1. Vegans- The most complete of all vegetarinanism. Vegans do not eat animal products of any kind, not even animal flesh, dairy products , and eggs.

2. Lacto Vegetarians - Do not eat any animal flesh or eggs but use dairy products.

3. Ova-Lacto Vegetarians - Most popular among new vegetarians. They don't eat animals but eat eggs and dairy porducts.



The reasons why people mostly become vegetarians are because animal rights, environmental reasons, health, other reason includes Religious reasons and some even do it cause scientific evidences. So many animals die a year it is unbelievable. These animals (pigs, cows, chickens) don't even get to be free. Factory farms creates pollution. All that is bad for our invornment. My pages are going to be more about animals, info on how eating animals effect our environment and how it can help us in heath ways.
