Stanza 2
Diction:
In the second stanza the chorus still remain to use similar words that refer to the same connotation of the first stanza, they used words like
tamed and resign to describe the animals that the humans have captured. The humans have succeeded in capturing animals that possibly weigh ten times our own weight or ten times our own strength, but we still remain to have the upper hand and take charge and use them as our own workers. Like today man uses horses as a mode of transportation and we also use animal hide for clothing, car seats, decoration, and bags. Even though cows, alligator, and snakes are much stronger, heavier, venomous man has been able to control and capture them and use them for our own good or tame them to mass produce their kind. The word resign helps solidify the fact that man is superior and impressive is because animals that are more mighty then man resign or back off away from man and stop to bow to us and praise the more dominant species on the earth.

Detail:
In this stanza the chorus provides us with details such as
lion on the hill, and wild horse. It is just not a lion, but a lion on a hill which is the highest point in the jungle, in addition not just a horse, but a wild horse that is crazier than that of a tamed horse in a farm. Like in the lion king the lion is on top of that rock that signifies he is the king and the ruler of all animals in his jungle so to show that he stands on the rock to show his class in the jungle which is on top because he is standing higher than anyone else. This concept applies to our lion that is on the hill and higher than all the rest of the animals who are bowing down before him. Moreover the horse is a wild horse which means it still has the skills of living independently, which is better than a horse at the farm because they are provided with food, told what to do, and they are cared for. Wild horses have the more superior connotation attached to their name. Because both these animals are strong and when man is put on top of them, it shows that man is even better and even stronger than these animals who are also strong, but not as strong when compared side by side.

Syntax:

The second stanza is also very closely related to the first stanza, only containing
semicolons and commas. The chorus is still proving their point and just simply telling the story of their impression of mans achievements.
