| Before I get into the engine shots I thought I'd add a few rear end shots. Although really hard to make out the floor is actually gloss black, and looks a lot better than the brown colour it was before, well worth the cost and effort. The shock absorbers are yet to be installed in these pictures, as is the differential. The diff im going to use is an r180 out of a c210 skyline, but not my original r180. The other thing to note is the enlarged exhaust hole in the rear crossmember which will allow me to run a full 3 inch exhaust. Once again im fairly happy with the way they turned out, but if i had more time and patience i would of ensured a lot cleaner finish smooth out weld lines etc. But for now it will do. Photograph shows more of the gloss finish to the rear end. How long it will last with day to day driving remains to be seen. And the moment I was waiting for so long. the engine in my bay. it fits like it was made for a 1600, and knowing nissan and their part interchangability it probably was. more details are on the next page. |
