This photo shows the interior after I'd finsihed with it. I have big plans for the interior that as this website is updated with photos you too will see. But for the moment ive rust killed and gloss blacked the whole lot, enlarged the hole for the longer fj20det gearbox. I already had a modified cross member from my stanza 5 speed that I will probably end up using after slotting one hole as it gives a better fit than the crossmember i got with it. the steering box is to be replaced with a rebuilt unit i got with the shell, engine etc. The rear end was removed for a variety of reasons, to be painted toyota lime green to match the rest of the cars detailing, in order to swap the rear crossmember which has a 4 inch hole and new rubbers (again got it with the shell in the background). to check for parts that may need to be replaced and to get better access to the underbody in order to paint it all gloss black.
These photos show a bit more of the bay work on the passenger side of the vehicle. If you look closely you can see the lack of lines although the pictures arent terribly clear.

This one is basically the inside of a 1600 without a fuel tank or rear seat or anything really besides the parcel shelf. I gave it a thorough clean after this photo was taken as 30 odd years of dust isnt pretty.
