This is my console installation. It's a very easy modifycation.
The console is out of a Datsun Sunny. Simply remove all the bolts holding it on, DONT FORGET to take the bracket aswell!! Now, I did the quick install ie. thru the carpet, you may want to lift the carpet and do it properly. Line the bracket up in the middle of the tunnel (this took me 2 goes) drill or mark the hole. BE CAREFUL though, there are brake lines running thru the transmission tunnel!! Now bolt the thing to the bracket, and drill the 2 holes at the back, Bobs your uncle, a very handy little console. Should take about 2 hours for a beginner working slowly! |
