Time can be short on the city streets. Whether you're the local entertainer cornered by the river, or the young man taking a short cut across the park, your life is never worth as much as the used notes you've pulled from the cash point or the loose change rattling in your pocket. So what burns in your mind as the blade is held against your throat?. And how do you feel when its pushed into your chest?.

Whats the last thing you think of as you drift out of consciousness as your eyes glaze over and your clothes soak in your own blood?.

Its of little consideration to some. The wasted, ignorant misued gift of life holds little over so many .Then again, you never know who you might find lurking in the shadows.

Killer is the first internally produced short piece of theatre from das thatre, written by  co-director Derek Butcher. First performed at the Y Theatre, Leicester as part of Speakeasy Theatre's 'Emergency' showcase, Killer has since travelled to Buzton Fringe Festival.  The show is available for similar showcase, revue and fringe events and will be potentially be seen in many cities in the interim. Keep checking here for new dates, or email [email protected] for more details.

'Psycho-killing into Irvine Welsh poetry fit for a street King...when you smash a person's brains in, you'd better make sure you're prepared for what comes out.'
