Here are a few more examples of the work I do. As an Artist and not just a Graphic Designer or Sign Manufacturer, I try to explore continually the expression of Art through public signage as well other avenues. For instance, I recently participated in the Northwest Film Projects production of The Immigrant Garden a Digital film set in the early 1900's for which I was priveleged to act as Production Designer. In this venue I was able to use set dressing and design of various props as well as lighting, angle and effects to acheive a desired effect. I particularly working on the garden itself, photos of which you will eventually see herein. Also a great deal of fun was the basement set which included the artificial generation of a great deal of cobwebs using a web throwing device built by long time friend and Effects Manager for the film Keith Marshall of Bonney Lake, Washington. That was SERIOUS FUN ladies and gentelmen. I am also intending to include on this site photos of various stages of the production as well as some of my more interesting comercial and fine art pieces over the years. One of which was a set of beleive it or not... Cows Legs. Yep, the film required a Dead Cow for one scene where the Characters accidentally shoot a cow on a hunting trip and, as it was my job as production designer to provide the needed imagery (and being somewhat reluctant to deal with an actual dead cow,) I hand carved foam legs from the thigh up and attatched stakes to them so they could be imbedded in the ground in the near foreground of the camera shot. In the scene all you actually see is the legs sticking up in front of the camera That was a Kick pardon the pun.
Regarding this site, please bear with me. I'm new to web page building and my time is limited to work on this one.  Feel free to contact me  at [email protected] with comments or suggestions! Thanks for looking.
