Good lord! I started eating a bagel, and didn't realize there was mold on it!

Where to begin. So much has happened since Friday, when I went snowboarding. I think I will start with what just happened to me. Last Thursday, I went and bought a Columbia fleece and a pair of snowboard socks that I didn't really want to buy, but the workers at the store said they were really good. Today, I went in to return the socks, and the manager who was there when I initially returned a pair of snowboard pants and was also there when I bought my fleece and socks was at the counter. I asked her if I could get cash back. I couldn't she said. I would have to get store credit back, and then buy something to get the rest of my cash back. "You can buy an energy bar. I really don't care. You're not going to hurt my feelings," she said in a "I don't give a fuck" tone. I walked to the side of the counter to check out the energy bars, and asked what's the cheapest thing they have. She came around, and pulled out an energy shot for me. And she completed the transaction for me. I kept getting the feeling that the moment I left the store, she would be bitching about me to one of the normal employees there (she was a manager). In fact, I am 100% sure that she mentioned something about me to the other guy working there, probably saying something about what happened and the previous times that I've been there. But I can't be sure, thought that's contradicting what I just said. haha. At that moment, I made a vow never to go back into that specific store location.

Okay. On to yesterday. Yesterday was spent moving a bunch of Kristina's big furniture to her new place in SF. We did two loads for her. While they were getting the second load in the car, I went to Costco with a friend so that she could change her car battery. It was dead. I stood in the Costco parking lot, unscrewing the bolts, and was having difficulty getting one of them out. None of the workers at the Costco tire shop were willing to help us out immediately, but said that if we waited a bit, they could, so I asked this black guy in a tow truck if he could help us out. I figured that since he had a AAA sticker on his truck, that he might be able to help me out. No success there. He wanted to charge $10 for having him unscrew a fucking bolt! I was like, I have a AAA card. He went on to say that he didn't work in this area or some stupid shit. I was like..fuck that shit. I went back, tried again, and for some reason, had little problems this time. Then I went back to SF to meet up with Brandon and Kristina to help unpack Kristina's stuff.

After that, we went to Brandon's to move his big furniture. This is where the fun begins. So while Brandon and I were making our first trip to load our stuff in the car across the street, I step into something. I took a quick glance, and thought it was a banana, but wasn't too sure. While walking back, Brandon pointed out that that was human shit that I stepped on covered with toilet paper. The shit had the imprint of my shoes: two circles. I called up a couple friends to tell them what happened, and all of them said that I should throw away my shoes. Brandon had accidentally stepped in homeless man's shit and threw away his favorite pair of shoes. I didn't want to. I went into the bathroom, and tried to wash off the shit in the bathtub, but with little success. I got toilet paper, and tried wiping it off. This was the first time ever I have had to wipe off someone else's shit!! And that wasn't working because I wasn't getting the shit out of the little cracks and crevices in my sole. Brandon gave me an old toothbrush to use, some water, and when we left the apartment, I leaned up against a rusty fire hydrant, took off my left shoe, held the toothbrush in my right hand, had Brandon and Kristina start pouring water on my shoe, and I began scrubbing away the shit. At some points, the water was splashing onto my arm. E.Coli was splashing on my arm! Eventually, all the shit came off and I dumped the toothbrush on the sidewalk. That was the highlight of my night.

Onto my snowboarding weekend. We went to Heavenly in Tahoe to go snowboarding. Friday, there weren't that many people, making it very fun to snowboard since we had a lot of space. There were lots of people from out of the country. Most of the workers that I noticed were from Australia, Brazil, or good ol' USA. Some of the people were still wearing their outfits from the 80's. Neon colors! One lady had bells around her wrists. That was whack. I saw one guy fall half way down a black diamond slope. That was amusing. Food was a rip off there.

About my snowboarding skills. Friday, I had no problems picking up carving again, but I still wasn't good at it. At most, I would carve 6 times at once, but some because I was getting scared I would fall down. I fell down A LOT! My ass hurt a lot, my gloves were getting soaked, ice was finding its way down my shirt, my legs were hurting, arms hurting, and whenever I fell, my head took a beating too, even if my head was nowhere close to touching the ground. The second day, my carving improved dramatically. I was taking risks I didn't take the day before, adjusting myself when I was in situations where I felt I could possibly lose control. I fell down a lot less this day, but when I did fall, I fell hard because I was going a lot faster, and taking more risks. That's all I can think about saying. I definitely want to go back again!

Last night, a huge group of us went to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I was never too fond of the movie, probably due to the fact that I never sat and watched the whole movie at once, but a little at a time on various days, so I never followed it. The musical last night was almost 2 hours. I went in to the musical not expecting much, and came out thrilled that I saw it. The guy playing Hedwig did almost all the talking, doing almost a 2 hour monologue. That was very impressive to me. All those lines to memorize.

When the musical was over, we were all planning to go to Asia SF to go to a party, but Kristina, Brandon, and I wanted to move stuff out of my car first so that we wouldn't have to do it later. After moving everything in, I started feeling really lethargic, and didn't want to go to the club. I started feeling bad because I told this one girl, Sonia, that we were definately gonna go, and when I say I'll do something, I almost always do it. We decided not to go, and we wanted to sleep in the new place. There were no beds there yet, so we slept in sleeping bags. I don't know if my back was still a problem at the time or I was just not use to sleeping on the ground, but I was THE worst nights sleep ever. Where shall I start.. 1) I was sleeping in a sleeping bag. I've never had to put my body through such rigorous sleeping conditions. 2) I was only wearing my underoos, and I was still feeling extremely hot. 3) the traffic noise was bugging me. I'm use to sleeping conditions where it's dead quiet, or maybe a TV that's on. 4) My body was aching. All these factors played a role in my bad sleep experience. I kept rolling around, trying to find the perfect position to rest in, but anything and everything I did didn't feel good.

1/22/03
I think I slept in a bad position because my back has been hurting all day. Or is it due to me sitting all day? Dr Ironmike?

I'm snowboarding in two days!! Yay! And I FINALLY got rid of my store credit. What a huge weight that's been lifted off my chest. Well, I didn't exactly sell it like I planned on doing, but rather bought myself a Columbia fleece and a pair of snowboard socks, and I got a little over $5 back. I was thinking of not getting the socks, and getting almost $20 back, but the people said that those were good socks, and I shouldn't be wearing normal socks snowboarding, so I bought it. One less thing to worry about now.

Tonight, its off to go watch the Hedwig and the Angry Inch musical in SF, then maybe go to Asia SF for a party afterwards.

So for those interested in learning more about what I've been keeping myself busy with these past couple of days....listening to music, playing warcraft 3, doing some job searching, chattign on the internet. Actually, that's what I do EVERY DAY!! Ugh. I'm in the process of downloading Shanghai Knights right now. It's one of those videos where someone takes a camera into the theater and you can hear coughing and laughing in the background. Oh well. I'm saving money downloading all my movies! This movie doesn't even get released until Feb 7th, so I'm watching this way in advance!

I'm still having my store credit dilemma. Should I try and get someone to buy my store credit off me or buy two lift tickets for the mountain I will be going to this weekend and try and sell them? Any opinions? The thing is, who is even going to be carrying that much cash with them? If I sold both lift tickets, it would be $100, and I doubt anyone is carrying that much money when they go snowboarding/skiing. I bet most people just charge it onto their credit card. So that's my dilemma.

Saturday...just chilled most of the day until night time. Kristina asked me to move some of her shoes and clothes into the city. The shoes filled up my trunk and her clothes on this one rack filled up my backseat. Picked up Nicole and went to the city. Got to the new apartment, and parked in my new spot. This was the oddest spot I have ever seen in my life. My spot was like a normal two car garage, but part of a normal garage, meaning I drive into and back out of it like a normal garage spot in the city. After unloading everything, we headed off to Castro to go to Sonia's birthday party. I was expecting some warm food there, since the previous two times I had gone over for a party, there had been lots and lots of feed. This time, there wasn't a single warm dish, but only cheeses, crackers, candies, nuts, and lots of alcohol. My dinner consisted of various cheeses and crackers. Great dinner. Chilled and talked to people I knew and met some people. Afterwards, went to check out one of Brandon's co-worker's new puppy. I forgot the name of the type of dog, but it was a gray looking puppy, and they use them for pictures (I think they model them with skates?). It was really cute, running around, hopping and nibbling on clothes.

Sunday...woke up and an hour later, Brandon showed his place to a potential renter of his place. This girl had a HUGE mole on her cheek with hair growing out..and it was a white chick too! WTF. I would've had that surgically removed years ago if that was me. First time I've ever seen a white person with a hairy mole, and a first time I saw a girl with a hairy mole. Did some shopping at Container Store, helped set up the stuff bought, and took a nap on one of those butterfly chairs. Came back to Berkeley, ate, and chilled, and now I'm typing this shit for you stupid readers!

Last night, Kristina, Brandon and I went to the Oakland Friday's for happy hour. For those unaware, Oakland is full of ghetto ass black people, and some that aren't ghetto. So I arrive at Fridays first and get a table at the bar section. Maybe 20 minutes later, Brandon and Kristina show up. Our waitress comes by (she's black) and takes our order. Before our food even comes, she already brings our check and says that her shift is almost over, and she just wants to take care of the bill. I think that was the first time I had seen someone bring the check that early. Brandon handed over a credit card to pay for it and she came back with the receipts and papers to sign. What was super ghetto was that she was standing right next to the table. Like RIGHT next to the table, hovering around the check to see how much tip she was getting. The last time we saw her was when she brought out half our dishes with dishes. After that, she flew the nest. We got all of Kristina's dishes, but none of Brandon's and mine. Few minutes later, our chicken dish came out, but we were missing the buffalo wings. We brought it up several times, but never got it. We kept pestering the waitress. Almost an hour later, we still had yet to receive the buffalo wings. Our waitress said that she was trying to figure out why we never got our dish, and that the manager was on top of it. In the end, we got 6 coupons for free appetizers, drinks, or dessert on our next visit, but we can only use one per visit.

Movies recently watched: The Slaughter Rule, Adaptation, About Schmidt, Emperor's Club, Just One Time, 25th Hour. ALL downloaded! That's a lot of money saved! =D Trying to get the rest of Chicago

So its been decided. I will finally be going snowboarding, after months of wanting to. For the first time, I will be going to Tahoe to snowboard at a place called Heavenly? It's suppose to be the best mountain for skiing/snowboarding. Tickets are something like $60/day, but a friend of ours is getting them for $49 at REI. This should be fun. I'm going to be the only guy who's not good there, meaning I'll be chillin with the girls. So sad. Hopefully, I'll be better than the other girls, and I definitely will learn faster than them since I'm probably more daring. I've already got the carving thing down, so its just a matter of being to go all the way down hill without falling and being able to control my speed and stuff. I'm going to be borrowing my cousin's snowboard, which is slightly longer for me. So I'm going to have to deal with fast speeds and the possibility of being unable to control it that well. But hey, I'm saving something like $40+. The plan is to go up next Friday morning, snowboard all day, crash at a hotel, go snowboarding again Saturday, then come back that night, and hopefully eat a good home cooked meal by Gordon's mom. Then I'm either going to go to comedy night with them, or hang out with Kristina and Brandon.

I'm feeling like a sandwich. Perhaps I will go to Mc D's and get myself a chicken sandwich and fried. Yummmmm. Btw...nothing happening still. Just chillin at home watching movies, downloading music/movies, chatting online.

This past weekend, did some returning of items I bought, went out to eat a bit, and was having psychedelic visions at one point. =).

Today, I went to Ross to get a new black belt. Most of you know that Ross is pretty ghetto, and so are most of the clientele. The one in Berkeley was no exception. Half the workers there are what I consider ghetto azz people! =). The register guy didn't seem to pleased about his job. I wouldn't blame him, especially with the shit he's probably gotta deal with, having to work with black customers. You know how verbal they get. I've never had this happen to me, but he forgot to take off the sensor tag! OMG.

As most of you avid readers of my web page know, I am currently sick, and those of you I've been out partying with know that I'm a super light weight drinker. So last night, disregarding my illness, I decided to go out and go to a club/bar. Likewise, most of you also know that I'm not much of a drinker. My friends were offering me to buy a drink, and figuring how I have absolutely no sense of smell because of a stuffed up nose, I figured I could take a drink since I wouldn't be able to taste the alcohol. And I was right. All I tasted was a bit of the after taste, but it was much more bearable than under normal circumstances. So I had my friend get me a "light" drink, and his idea of a light drink was vodka, orange juice, and cranberry juice. I've had a long history with vodka messing me up, occasionally making me want to throw up. After finding out that the drink was made of vodka, I decided not to finish the drink. By the time we left the bar, I was feeling a little on the wheezy side. Kind of sluggish, light headed, and tired.

So at the club, I just got a bottle of water, since I knew that eventually, I would be feeling extremely tired, and maybe have the urge to hurl. For most of the time at the club, I was feeling that. I went outside with the smokers, and just chilled out there. I kneeled down because I was tired, and when I stood up, I started having the urge to hurl. Chris asked if I was okay, and if I needed to go around the corner or go to the bathroom and hurl, but I kept saying I was ok. A couple minutes later, I started walking off, because I was having the urge again, and Chris was talking to someone, so I didn't bother asking him to come. A few minutes later, Ryan came out, and asked if I was okay. He said that I should just try and throw up because it'd make me feel better. So we walked off, and I tried. I don't know how those bulimics do it, but I had a tough time trying to induce vomiting. Needless to say, I was unsuccessful, but I did feel slightly better. Went back in, chit chatted a bit, danced a bit, then left.

Last night I had a revelation. I download my tv shows, now that I don't have cable tv. When I watch these shows, I never encounter commercial breaks. So last night, while lying in bed, it dawned on me. The people who post the shows up must be using TIVO! That's my only guess as to why there are no commercials. Either that or someone is very good at pausing and starting a vhs.

On to last night. Yesterday was Kristina's friend's b-day dinner. We went to a Chinese restaurant called House of Chen in Castro. It was almost a sausage fest, if it were not for the 3 girls there. The foot was ok, nothing spectacular, but it was good to have some Chinese food since there aren't a lot of good Chinese restaurants up here. After dinner, we went to a Karaoke bar and people did some drinking. I was sick cuz of Kristina, who passed me down her cold, so I was sniffling and blowing my nose during the night. We didn't leave til close to 1, and I didn't get back to Berkeley til almost 2. That was my wild day.

1/8/03
Not much happened yesterday. Went to a Vietnamese restaurant yesterday where Pho wasn't their specialty!! That was a total first.

Tonight, going to Castro to eat at a restaurant for Kristina's friend's b-day, then off to the place where she bartends to drink.

1/7/03
Again, not much happened yesterday. I did find my amusement at night, when I went upstairs to Jerylin's place to watch Joe Millionaire and Real World/Road Rules Challenge of the Sexes.

Joe Millionaire: SOOOO sick and twisted for these ladies its funny. Did you check out that Heidi chick. Even though I HATE her for being such a bitch, I want her to win and realize that Joe ain't exactly a millionaire and have her heart crushed!! HAHHAHA. The two asian girls are fugly too.

Battle of the sexes. OMG. D-R-A-M-A already in the first episode between Julie and Melissa from Real World New Orleans and Puck and David from Real World Los Angeles. It was amazing how much these people argue. By the end of the first competition, both Julie and David were out of the competition because of personal grudges. Let me reiterated this episode...D-R-A-M-A and there's MORE to come in future episodes!!! HAHAHAA

Nothing much happened yesterday for those curious minds.

Today, I got an email about my CBEST scores. Its the California Basic Education Skills Test for being a substitute teacher or something. My dad wanted me to take it for who knows what reason. Thought I wanted to go into teaching? I dunno... But I got my reading and math scores awhile ago, and just received my writing score today. So, first off, a 41 is a passing score in each section. The test had 50 questions in the reading and math, and I'm assuming the writing was 50 points total for the two essays. My reading score was a 39 (below passing for just the section!) and a 46 for math. I needed a 123 total for all three sections to pass. I was kind of thrown off by my low reading score, but I still had a chance to pass the test. Today, I checked my email, and I got a 47 on the writing, making that a total score of 132. So I passed by 9 points! Woohoo. What was sad was that my writing for the essays were SOOOOOO BAD! It was all bullshit.

The first topic was: Who is your inspiration and why. I talked about my dad, and how he came from a not so well off family, and moved to America, finding a good job, settling down, and raising a family. What made it an inspiration was that I wanted to be like that: have a good job, a good family, and live a good life, something I currently don't have myself. Anyways, you can see how bullshitted that was.

Second topic was about an American issue right now. I talked about health care, and how America should have something similar to Canada's where everyone is giving health care, no matter who they are or what their income is, and just worked on that. Pretty lame, huh!

Had a dream this morning.  When I woke up, I wanted to go to www.howstuffwork.com and ask how anti-viruses work. Heh.

So my dream. Don't remember all the details, but I was in a room, and I know Paul was there.  He was sitting down on a couch, and had some friends with him. I was in the room too.  Suddenly, I saw him with a baby. I was thinking to myself...WTF?? I go up to him, and ask "Who's baby is that?" "Mine," he replies.  "Who's the mother?" I looked around, and saw no women around. I was looking at one of his friends, and he was giving me a smirk.  Then a woman appeared (didn't pop out of the guy). "She's my wife," he said, pointing at her.  I looked at the baby, and thought that he/she was cute.  But it got uglier the more I looked at it.

Next part of my dream. Let's see...something about people going through the room we were in to go outside to line up for something.  A huge stint to go do something opposed to the government that was run by the Al Queda.  A bunch of people, one of em being a really fat guy, going in (well, it was a huge parking lot) and rescuing people or things, and stuffing them in the van.  They were almost out, and decided to park the car.  One of the enemies was setting up some sort of bomb, but away from the car.  He grabbed the really fat guy, stuck the bomb on him, and flung him into the air, landing a few feet away. That's all I remember.

OKAY!!! It is 6:47pm right now, and just to let you know...I am SOOOOOOOO BORED!!! So bored that I posted up a message and responded to several messages from people who were bored on craigslist in the bay area. I was playing Warcraft 3 for quite some time, and have grown tired of it..at least for the day. Oh GEEEZZ!!!! I need some more friends up here god damnit!!!

Went to the mall in Pleasanton to do some Nordstrom stuff. Got a free wax for my shoes and got a price adjustment on a shirt I didn't know was almost $10 cheaper!! Bought a pair of corduroy pants at J Crew and bought some new PJ pants at Macy's that were cheaper then 50% off! What a great deal! Realized that I need to be like 4 inches taller or something to wear A&F pants the right way.  I saw one of the guys working there wearing pants that I also bought, and they definitely looked better on him than me cuz they were sagging, and they weren't being dragged on the floor. I couldn't get a size 32 waist cuz the pants would be way too long.  What a drag.

Downloaded and watched Personal Velocity. Played a lot of Warcraft 3. Realized I was giving some people the wrong cell #. I was telling people 542, but it's actually 524.  =)

Well, it's the new year. Happy New Years to ya'll.

So for those of you interested in what I did last night, I went to a club in SF called Club 6. There were 2 floors, the top playing hip hop, reggae, and other stuff of that genre, and downstairs playing electronic music. I'm assuming the majority of people reading this have never been to a SF club. Let me tell you something. I have never seen so many people smoke pot in my life at a club. What's pretty strange is that people were smoking cigarettes also in the club, something that's not even suppose to be done indoors. It almost seemed as if everyone was doing it. You'll be glad to know that I only second hand smoked that stuff. Oh yeah, a bunch of Brandon's friends went to this place. Most of us pre-ordered our tickets for $25. The dance floor was pretty gross. Drinks were spilled all over the floor. There wasn't a single dry spot on the floor. Anyways, the night was fun, chatting away with various people. Oh yeah. This was the first time I went out partying for New Years. It was also weird because I was giving hugs to everyone I knew, something I also had never done before. That was pretty cool. Oh yea...towards the end of the night, I was just chilling on the couch, and these two guys sit right next to me. The one closest to me starts jabbering about something. I couldn't quite understand what we was saying because of his thick English accent. He talked a bit, and asked if I wanted a line of coke. Being me, very clean Ed, I declined his offer, and told him to enjoy it. He asked me twice if it was okay to do it here. I said, "yea." He asked me to nudge him if someone was coming down the stairs or whatever. I agreed. So he whipped out his coke, dumped a little on the table, which had been used by people for their drinks, a foot rest, and who knows what. He separated it into two lines; one for him, the other for his friend. Then the dollar bill came out. He rolled him up, and snorted up a line. Then gave his friend the bill so he could snort up the last line. I wanted to get out of there quick, but I wanted to do it inconspicuously. I waited a minute after they did it, and said I was going to the dance floor to dance. I stood up, and the guy grabbed my hand for who knows what reason. Then he got his friend to hold my hand too. They were F'd up. We got to the club at 10:30ish, and left at 4. Got back to Brandon's place, and just chilled for a bit. Didn't get much rest cuz of various noises.
