I began the day by pestering Z to tell me how to make the links do that hover thing so I wouldn't have an underline under my links. Did that to all my pages. What I didn't anticipate was how laborious it would be to try and find a color scheme to match each page. Colors that I had used as backgrounds would clash with the colors I were trying to use as links. So after trying to redesign my homepage to look less like Dzuy's, my friend suggested that I keep the theme of my homepage up, and transfer it to my other pages. So began the long and tedious labor that I partook in creating each page to match the homepage, and creating images to introduce each page. I don't know why, but when I began creating the pages, I just tried to make each page look similar to the original, but soon realized (after a couple hours) that my method was very inefficient. After completing 2 or 3 pages, I soon realized that I needed to create a template that I could use and just stick pictures in so that all my pages would be uniform. Checking my other pages, the links on the left side were all uneven and made the pages look un-uniform. So I worked at designing logos for each page and creating the webpages themselves until something like 1am. And I think I'm pretty pleased with the results. Now, all I need are more pics to attract viewers daily and increase my hit count.

Went to get breakfast with the folks at Green St restaurant today. First time in a LONG time that I've had breakfast with them. I wore the button down shirt that was recently purchased at the sample sale today and saw myself wearing it for the first time in the mirror. It actually looked pretty damn good I must say. Lisa and her cousin were both saying it looked good and that I should get it (it was only $20). So after getting breakfast, I went driving around to the local Borders and Barnes and Nobles trying to find a copy of Rules of Attraction, since it's coming out in theaters Oct 11, and I'd like to read the book before seeing the movie. Next, after defecating, I went to the mall and returned a pair of shoes I bought from Nordstroms. Back at home, I was just chilling on the floor, when I realized that the water in my bamboo plants was quite brown. Thinking I just needed to change the water, I proceeded towards the big sink next to the washer to change the water. Immediately, after dumping out the water, I smelled the foulest odor since I dumped out a potato I was trying to grow. It smelled like a raunchy ass fart multiplied by a zillion that just makes you want to cry for your mama and die. I had to light four or five matches to nullify the odor! Went to dinner, came back and saw a skunk in my backyard after it triggered the sensor. Pretty cool! After that, not much happened for the rest of the day. I'm still deciding whether or not I should go to Century Club tonight with the SD crowd. Currently listening to John Mayer's live show from 3/5/02 performed at Calvin College Fine Arts Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Woke up at 8:20 in the morning!! I haven't done that since who knows when. Perhaps first quarter my first year at UCSD? Damn that was a long time ago. My sleep pattern the past few weeks has been to go to sleep around 2 in the morning and wake up around 9:30. So the purpose of me waking up so early was to go to a sample sale in Downtown L.A. The first store we hit up was Max Studio. Nothing much there. Eventually, we went to a building adjacent to the one we were in, and I actually found a shirt that fit me and looked like. The shirt: a BCBG blue short sleeved button down shirt. Very odd considering almost everything BCBG creates is for women. I just hope the shirt I bought wasn't a women's shirt accidentally shoved into the men's. Afterwards, it was off to Curry House to get some curry. Then we went to see Sweet Home Alabama. That was pretty good. After that, the rest of the night was pretty uneventful ranging from trying to go out to eat, which didn't materialize to just ending up watching TV and going to sleep real early, at around 12:10am.

So today was a waste of a whole day. I began my day by surfing the internet, and deciding whether or not to start watching a couple shows I had taped the night before. My hesitation was due to my possible boredom in the afternoon. I wanted to occupy that time with something interesting, so I was deciding if I should delay my tape viewing until then, but decided that I would watch Gilmore Girls before lunch, and watch a new show on UPN called Haunted after lunch. And that I did. So my afternoon, after watching Haunted, was spent perusing the internet for anything remotely interesting. Recalling that Yahoo! had some online games, I decided to venture onto that site and play a couple of their games. I think the two games I played occupied quite a bit of my time, because whenever I lost, the game would display the amount of time I had spent playing the game. So, I surfed the net again, checked my email for the nth time, just waiting for the clock to hit 5 o'clock, when I would be able to watch Dismissed on MTV. Realizing that I had seen the second half of the episode before, I called up my cousin, and asked if I could go work out in the gym at his apartment complex. Did that for 45 minutes or so, then went up to his apartment and changed and got ready for dinner. Tonight's dinner was another one of my excursions to a new restaurant. Cafe W was tonight's event. Everyone was amazed (I think) at the decor of the restaurant. It looked very cozy and very eclectic at the same time. So we sat down, and looked at the menu. I believe this was the first time I ever felt baffled at a restaurant menu. The description for each tapa was filled with details of ingredients put into each dish that it almost gave us a headache. I won't go into what we ordered because I honestly wouldn't be able to give you a detailed description of what each dish was (maybe I could..but I'm lazy). But the dishes that were making us want more: a seared steak dish where the steak was literally the size of a sausage, veal that practically melted in your mouth, and a ginger bread pudding for dessert.

So, today I went to the dentist!!! Aw yeah! This appointment was made last week, when the dentist said that I needed some of my fillings re-done. Aw yeah! So I go in, and I'm told that four of my fillings in the front of my mouth need to be fixed. So the helper outer person comes by, and sticks some local anesthetic in my mouth to numb the gums so that the dentist can inject some other local anesthetic to prevent any possible pain that might be inflicted while drilling into one of my cavities. Can you feel the excitement?! So after waiting around, my lips became numb, and felt like they were really puffy. Ya'll know the feeling, right?! So, the first thing she did was whip out the drill to take out the old fillings, and drill away the decaying parts of the teeth (I'm guessing). After drilling, she began plastering up the holes and what not. That whole process took over an hour damn it! My mouth was all dry and swollen or something. After that, I went to get lunch and Jack in the Box, came back home, and watched Changing Lanes while fiddling around with my recently installed Win2k. Man, this OS is being a pain in the arse! Tonight, its Everwood and Road Rules, and possibly, a drive back to San Diego to enjoy my final weeks there before I move up to the bay area.

Woke up, surfed the internet. Made a dentist appointment for 11:00. Had my appointment at 11:00. Finished close to 12:00 I believe, but possibly way earlier. Went to Bank of America to cash a PHAT check (several G's) but the line was hella long so I left to get my 8 boxes of Acuvue 2 contact lenses. Went to B of A and cashed the check, and withdrew $1000 to put into my Wamu account. Came home and surfed some more internet while watching tv, and at the same time, deciding if I should call people up to go eat or just go get Mc D's or In n Out. Decided to get Mc D's. Went through the drive thru. The person in front of me wanted to pay with a $100 bill, but the drive thru didn't take bills that large, so he had to walk into the fine restaurant to get food. Came back home, ate it, enjoyed it, threw it away. The rest of the day was spent watching TV., surfing the internet, and chatting with friends. Tonight though, its Shabu Shabu with the family, and time for the fall TV line-up.
