-The Car Dance- Regretably most of the spaces in the trailer park have long single-file type driveways, sometimes sporting up to 3 cars. This leads to some comical scenes in the early afternoon and evenings where the juggling act of cars and drivers scooting in and out of driveways ensues. These rotations are more interesting with only one driver as seen here.
-Crazy Rules and Regulations- Trailer park management seems to have something akin to the "little guy" complex in that they are extra sensitive to the routine cliche's of trailer park ridicule. This generaly leads to strict rules and fasciast-like regulations of forced cookie-cutter conformaty. -Your yard is Their yard- Unlike any other kind of rental the management has the right to step on any part of your space with the exception of within the trailer itself to make inspections. I was lucky enough to get only a written warning for the large oil stain in our driveway. My roomate was not so fortunate as they brought in the community gardener to takle the few weeds that were left a few days after a written warning. This was to the tune of $100. We have also been issued warnings for being able to see one of our trash cans from the street, a visable lawnmower and having cooler on the porch.
As you can see, this page is a work in progress. More of a whiny bitch in progress really. More photos coming soon. Return To Index
There was a home here in August...I swear!
[A] Moved. [B] Gone out for a pack of smokes. [C] Proved God's contempt for Trailer parks. [D] Proved Management's comtempt for tennants.

Above: Model railroad village? Nope. This is an actual stop sign in our park. It is hard to resist the urge to turn it 90 deg. or replace it all together with a Cinzano umbrella.
Right: -Nature Abhors a Vacuum- Yup. This is the same space as above but now harboring potential new neighbors or possibly nuclear-age squatters.
No Dogs Allowed. Roomate says that you're not allowed to have dogs over 70lbs in the park. All dogs must be indoor dogs. It is, of course against the rules to walk your dog within the park. About May of this year the City built a beautiful dog park across the street from the front gate of our community. Roomate has to drive his dog there. I did however catch an older gentleman walking to the park with a cocktail-sized dog tucked under his arm like a football. It would have been a great photo but I didn't have my camera. Use your minds eye here.
