Above:  Approaching Steve's hidden camping cave.

Below:
Easily my favorite photo from the entire trip is Steve sporting his cool hat and laying on the dry lake bed not far from the cool cave.
Left:
Steve's secret camping cave and Angies good side.
Inside we found an open letter to the next occupants stating that the cave was a long time favorite of the previous occupants who routinely camped there since the mid 70's
Note my huge belly ---->
Right:
As you can see
most of the area
we visited was free of any vertical features except for this lone tree
which we all
put to good use.
Above:
I really wasn't getting Jiggie here. I was just trying to navigate between the two sticker bushes.  It seems I am a natural for unflattering photographic poses
Left:
This is the town of Banner on our way out of the desert. Take special note of Angie's expression and elation.  Just out of frame to the left are real restrooms.
Incidently this store is seemingly all there is to the town of Banner.

Some ancient Petroglyphs left by Indians.
I tested their authenticity by vigorously rubbing them with my finger and some spit.
