| Static Shock, Racist or just Polically Correct | |||||||||

| II just happened to get home early a few weeks ago when I noticed a small problem with a show on TV called Static Shock, it is racist. During the actuall 20 minuets of airtime I could find one scene where a white person interacted with a white person. All the other time all "whitey" characters were either talking to a black person, talking about a black person, talking while a black person walked by, or just plain not included. The bady guys were both white, and the only time two "whiteys" talked to each other was when they were arguing to take over the world. The only non-degraded white man was Static's ungodly smart side kick named gear. What the fuck. Why should the only non degraded be degraded in his own little way. All this black power is making me sick. Why should minorites get prefrences? Is it my fault they were once slaves? No. I believe "whiteys" helped free the slaves. Does this mean that "whiteys" should be given priviledges? Hell no. It means that in children's TV shows the white people should be some thing other that bad, drunk, homeless, or insanely super-nerdish. |
