Another poem, on the feelings of Anna Karenin, by Tolstoy, or maybe the Awakening, by Chopin, only the ending of it relates more to Anna Karenin.
Can I give you another life?
Spread your dreams into strife,
Claiming you into another bit of suffering,
Enchaining you into another unhappy ring?
กก
Be willing, be mine forever?
Something's instilling in me this fervor,
To tell you to be my one and only,
But all the pain ahead of you, do you see?
กก
Is something too hard to press upon you?
The truth beyond the lovely vows that keep us two,
In passion, embracing a one-year affair,
But afterwards, in front of the train, I'll leave you there.

A poem that I originally wrote for Suikoden 3.
-
What does a soldier do with his life?
Does he repent and spend his days mourning,
And are his actions indebted to his bloody knife,
Or does destiny a new victim bring?
-
Can a soldier bless his heart, it's still pumping?
Shall he smile at the day he's survived again,
With the fact that he's still somewhat living,
Or does he pray for his lost soul, then?
-
Is a soldier looking to the rest of his days?
Seeing a forecast of sunny skies after the rain,
Counting, of things to do, the many ways,
Or does he the grave ahead of him, where lain?
-
Would a soldier think of God in war?
Does he think of heaven ahead for his deeds,
Of clean cloth replacing the ones battles tore,
Or does he no longer find any spiritual needs?
-
Is a soldier a living breathing human?
Can he think like a man and rationalize,
Remember he's protecting his country's den,
Or did he already go through his demise?
