| Nov 28 2005 my wife and I will be of to the UK on a trip I won from CBC. All I had to do was watch Doctor Who, log in and answer a question about the show and then my name was put in to a draw. Some of my friends mocked me for watch Doctor Who but now I laugh at them.hehehehe. While I am there I will see the sites and see a taping of a seen that will be Doctor Who. I will be placing my thought, what happen on my trip and oh yes pictures. |

| Well people I head of in a week today. Here is more about what is happening. Well I be getting into Heathrow on Nov 29 and take a 2 hour train ride to Cardiff (the guywho is taking us says he beleaves there is a train every 20 mins, wow here in Calgary I wait 20 mins for a train toget down town). When in Cardiff we will go directly to the hotel. On Nov 30 at 9am we will be on the sett. They will take us to Newport where the Tardis is and they will arrange for some offical publicity shots and a tour of Cardiff Town centre and various places where key scenes from series 1 of the new DR.Who were filmed. On Dec1 we head of to London till Dec 5. Sherry Is starting to ask me about the show. She is afraid that they might ask her a question and she will not know the answer. So thank god I taped all of season 1. I think we will have to plop the tape in. |

| Arrived safe and sound on Tuesday morning (the 29th of november). Took a train out to Cardiff Whales right away and spent the rest of that day touring around the shops and streets. Had dinner in a pub and went to be early to catch up with the jet lag. Wednesday was an unreal day. Was taken to the closed Dr Who set in the morning in NewPort Whales, and treated like a true King, was even given a bag full of books, toys and other Dr Who treats. Had my picture taken with the leading lady Bilie Piper, and loved every second of it. Then we were taken out to lunch back in Cardiff. We walked back to the city centre from there and stopped in for a tour of the Cardiff Castle. Sherry's favorite thing so far. We of course finished that day with more shopping and a truly UK dinner at Burger King. Thursday(today) we got up, had our wonderful free breakfast and headed to the train station, Paddington Station. We left our CBC host as he was flying off to Dublin for business and pleasure. :-) We took the train back to London, found our way to our hotel and have been busy wondering around ever since. We went to Madame Tussauds wax museum and went up Baker Street (home of Fictional character Sherlock Homes). | Today was another busy day as we quickly approach the end of our journey. Only 1 more full day and then we head home. We took a double decker 3hour tour bus ride around London today. It was fantastic! Then we toured up the river Thaems and walked along the road by Big Ben. We took the bus back up to oxford street and are just about to head out to eat. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
