I decided to share a little about each of our pets.
They were and are all very special. We've had mutts,
purebreds, and feral kitties, and they have all been The Best!!
We have a dog named Roxie, and two cats, Kobie and Mickie.
Our days are full of fun and mischief.

Miss Roxie is 1 year
old. She is enthusiastic about everything and just
loves learning new things. My husband is starting to
run out of tricks to teach her. I was taking her to
agility training for fun and she was catching on quickly and
definitely enjoying it. Everyone is a playmate to
Roxie. She has even managed to make friends with our feral
kitten/cat Kobie. That took some real skill.

Well, meet Kobie. He
was a feral kitten that someone dropped off at the local pet shop.
I'm a sucker for grey cats, so my son and I brought
him home, in spite of all his kicking and screaming as we were
leaving the store. After a lot of love and patience Kobie
has turned out to be a neat cat. He acts more like a dog
than a cat. He retrieves small rings and follows me around
the house like a dog. He likes to be loved but only on his
terms. The only problem is, sometimes he tries to dominate
of our little Himilayan.
This is precious little
Mickie. She was the runt of the litter and had a rough go
of it, but fortunately for us she's a tough cookie and she beat
the odds. She's very tiny and everyone thinks she's just a
kitten. She's loves to cuddle so she gets lots of
attention.
~*~ A Very Special Memory~*~
Speaking of beating
the odds. This is Momma Cat. She was a feral cat
that had kittens in our boat port when we lived in Louisiana.
She was so skinny you could see her ribs and she was just a
mess. We started taking care of her and the kittens and
she started to trust us more and more. She really had a
sweet personality. We went away on vacation and the
neighbor checked in on her. My husband came home before
me and discovered she had a very serious infection. She
had to have a hysterectomy and it was touch and go with the
infection. The kittens were adopted by neighbors and
Momma started to recover. It was shortly after that,
that we were transferred to Georgia. She made the move
without a hitch. She liked Georgia. After 7 years
we were transferred to California. This move did not go
well. First we had an open house and she got out.
We searched for days and then when I was out on the deck,
calling her, I heard a faint meow. I could not believe
it. I followed her cry and found her underneath a bush
on the side of the house. It took shrimp to get her out,
and she fought me all the way into the house. She was
pretty skittish from that point on. I
really regret having to move her, but we didn't have a choice.
Momma stopped eating several weeks after we arrived in
California so we took her in and she had cancer of the liver.
We had a very unique bond and she holds a special place in my heart. I miss her alot!
