Which is NOT culturally acceptable (Not okay to do) in Mexico?
a) Take cuts
b) Toss an item to somebody  (such as a pen or keys)
c) Call someone �fat�.

Answer: B. It is not okay to toss an item to someone. The culturally correct way is to hand the item personally to the person. We have accidentally tossed things to one another, such as piece of candy etc. to their amazement. So we quickly apologize and try to explain that in our country (or at least our house) it's not offensive.

In Mexico it's nothing to stand in a line for a long time and when it's your turn have someone cut right in front of you. Driving is the same way, the lines in the road are only for decoration.

Men and women call each other their "little fat one" (Gordito, or gordita for a girl). For a man, or women to talk of another right in front of them as being fat is no problem. Even to ask how much a women weighs is no problem.

And about being late... "On time" is anywhere from ten minutes late to an hour. In some places we tell people that a meeting is one hour earlier than the set time to have them arrive on time. It works.
